Children's Care Learning & Development NVQ Level 3
At level 3 the qualification has 5 mandatory units and 4 option units chosen from a list of 43. The option units will match the learners' role. This level is suitable if you are working in a supervisory capacity or as a childminder.
Entry Requirements
- Learners need to be aged 20 years or over.
- Learners will need to be working with children (paid or unpaid) on a regular basis.
- A Level 2 qualification is not a requirement however experience (minimum of a year full time or two years part time) of working with children is.
Course Content
This course will require the learner to show their practice, knowledge and understanding of developing and promoting relationships with children and adults, communicating with children and adults, establishing and maintaining a healthy, safe and secure environment for children, observing, assessing, planning and implementing provision to promote development, equality of access and inclusion and looking at, evaluating and developing own practice.
There will be other requirements relating to the chosen option unit.
